This Rocketship project is a work in progress...and of course, I borrowed this lesson from deepspacesparkle.com! First we drew a rocket in pencil.

| Then, we outlined our designs with a black oil pastel |

| Then we painted the rockets with a limited palette of blue, orange, yellow-orange and gray. |

| It's amazing how everybody's art is so unique! |
 |
| Students were encouraged to create a new color in the empty space on their paint trays. |
